Da Jin Zhen Wang - Golden Needle King (Chinese: 大金针王) - Chinese black (red) tea from Yunnan province.
Made in early spring from select large tea buds densely covered with golden-orange fuzz.
The rich flavor and bright aroma of the Golden Needles are achieved through the high quality of selected raw materials, the unique characteristics of the Jinggu Da Bai Cha cultivar, and the terroir of the harvest area. Notably, the tea undergoes a special processing technique: the final drying is done at low temperatures to fully release and preserve the aroma of the tea leaves.
Aroma: rich, with fruity and berry notes.
Flavor: juicy, sweet. A velvety, fruity-berry aftertaste.
