Da Hong Pao

Chinese oolong Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe) from the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian Province. Medium degree of heating ("medium fire").

Da Hong Pao will not leave anyone indifferent! If brewed correctly, it will withstand up to 5-6 brews.

Aroma: roasted nuts, tobacco and some fruits.

Taste: little spicy, sweetish, with notes of baked fruit, caramel and bread crusts with a slight astringency.

Effect: concentrate and relaxes. Excellent tea in cold and rainy weather.
